Guide: Step by step instructions on how to create Computer Screen Shots on your Computer using Windows Vista.

Methods of easily creating Screen Shots using Windows Vista

What is a Screen Shot?

A screen shot is merely a image that shows the picture of whatever is showing on your Computer Monitor at the time the Screen Shot was taken. Screen shots might be used when giving presentations, or showing someone such as Technical Support the errors or problems you might be having with your Computer. There are so many other uses for Screen Shots as you can imagine! To some people, creating these Screen Shots is really a lot easier than it seems. If you're using the Windows Vista Operating System, then you can follow the simple directions below to learn how to quickly create Screen Shots all on your own.

There are many programs out there that offer to assist you in creating Screen Shots. Most of these programs are just designed to take peoples money who may not be aware of just how easy it is to create them. Stay away from these types of programs and follow the simple instructions below:

Instructions:

Step 1.) Click on your Windows Vista [Start Menu] in the lower left hand corner of your screen. In the [Search] box in this menu, type in the following text: Snipping Tool Then, click on [OK] or just hit the [Enter] key on your keyboard to bring up the Snipping Tool. The Snipping Tool utility program should now be open on you're computer.

Step 2.) (Optional Step) We can make the 'Snipping Tool' program more easily accessible for future use by placing a shortcut into your 'Quick Launch' tool bar. To do this, click on the [Options] tab that you see in the tiny Snipping Tool box that's open. Once the options are displayed, you'll then see a check box that says something along the lines of "Display icon in the Quick Launch Toolbar". Go ahead and enable to click on the check box next to this option if you would like the Snipping Tool to show up in your Quick Launch toolbar for now on.

Windows 7 Displays error when installing .MSI installation files. How you can prevent installations from crashing on Windows 7!

Are you having trouble installing with ".MSI" installer package files on Windows 7?

This is something that I came across not too long ago. I don't know if this problem will only occur in the Beta versions or not, but I'll explain what happens and two known methods of resolving the problem in Windows 7. I do know for a fact that this bug or error is present in Windows 7 Build 7000 for sure.

Fix method #1 for resolving the .MSI Installer Package Bug:

1.) Go to your [Start] menu.
2.) Click your mouse cursor into the [Search] bar.
3.) Type in: gpedit.msc
4.) When the new Window appears, look on the left pane for the folder called [Administrative Templates] and double click it.
5.) Then double click on [Internet Communication Management].
6.) Then double click on [Internet Communication Settings].
7.) Now you will want to double click on the File/Setting named (Turn Off - Windows Customer Experience Program)
8.) A new box should appear after double clicking. Choose the radio button (Enable) and then click (OK) at the bottom of this window.
9.) The issue should now be resolved. There is no need to reboot the computer for the fix/solution to take effect.

Fix method #2 for resolving the .MSI Installer Package Bug:

1.) Go to your [Start] menu.
2.) Click your mouse cursor into the [Search] bar.
3.) Type in: regedit
4.) Hit (Enter) on your keyboard, or click Search/OK.
5.) Once the Registry Editor opens, you'll want to navigate to the following ->

  • Double click on [HKLM] folder in the left pane.
  • Then double click on folder [Software].
  • Then double click on folder [Microsoft].
  • Then double click on folder [SQMClient].
  • Then double click on folder [Windows].
  • Then double click on folder [DisabledSessionsHKLM].

Does your Windows Clock keeping messing up? Learn to fix your system tray clock and never touch it again!

Tired of your clock in Windows Vista or Windows XP always getting messed up by a few hours?

Yes, This is a problem that has all hit us at one time or another. You keep setting your Windows clock to the correct time, then a day or two later, it all gets screwed up again. This seems to happen no matter how many times you fix it, right? Well the issue is quite simple and you may feel a little stupid once you learn why it keeps doing this actually. It's ok, it even took me awhile when I first started using Windows XP to figure it out :)

It all has to do with timezones. Well, we all know that Microsoft is located in the state of Washington. Well, maybe not but that's where their headquarters are located. That means they live in a (PST) Pacific Time Zone. Because Windows was developed there by it's programmers, that is what the default time zone is set too when you first install Windows XP, or Windows Vista. Windows will regularly run a check to make sure your time in Windows is correct. When it's not, it auto fixes for you. This can be a problem if you didn't select the correct time zone upon installation. Perhaps you bought your computer from the store and they didn't? Who knows right? In my case, I live in Michigan, US which has a -5 GMT Timezone (EST). Therefore, My clock was always 3 hours behind.

Fix the Windows clock for good!
First double click on your clock in the lower right hand corner of Windows like you normally would to adjust the time. Next, look at the top of this window for a tab called "Time Zone". Next, simply click on the Drop Down Menu at the top and choose your correct time zone. Apply the settings and your all set. You might still have to manually adjust the clock to the correct time, but I can assure you that this will be the last time you'll have to do that.

Secret: Free secret Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tip on getting hundreds of free back links to your blog or website!

Very good way of getting easy back links to your blog or website without much effort!

I was sitting down one day thinking of all the ways of getting back links to my website and thinking of what worked in the past and what didn't work. From all of my efforts it seemed that I always got the most results from dropping my back links on forums instead of blog comments or any other available methods. Moderators are not so fast to remove a fairly decent post on their forums because they will take about anything they can get that will attract new registration to their forums and give their current readers some new content to read. While I was thinking in my head of all the ways I could increase back links on even more forums than what I was already posting too, I thought what I really needed was to be able to do the same thing back link posting technique on forums that may not be so related to my web site, but close enough to count in SE and help out my PR and increase traffic a bit.

This is where I started thinking of what forums has to offer different from what other methods have like comment blog posting. The one thing that shot up in my head was the use of a wide range smileys like on the VBulletin Forums Script. Then I thought hey why couldn't I make a post or make a response to someone else's post and just throw 1 or 2 smiley's in there and just link the smiley's to my website? No one would even notice and it's gotta count for something when the Search Engines spider in those threads into index.

Here are some examples:

For a forum using BBC (codes).
[b]Hey, that was a really good idea that you had. Thanks for sharing! [url=http://www.computerquestionhelp.com][/url][/b]

For a forum using normal HTML for their links.
(HTML Bold Tag)Hey, that was a really good idea that you had. Thanks for sharing!(HTML Bold Tag Closing)

Was your website hacked? Was your Web Hosting account compromised and abused?

Are you a victim of hackers taking over your hosting account or website defacement?

Why?
Whether you are on a shared host or you operate and run a VPS/VDS or a Dedicated Server. If the security of your account or website has been compromised by hackers, most likely this is nothing but your own fault. I see this kind of thing on a daily basis where I work answering support tickets for a web hosting company. The clients first relation is that they freak out and usually try to blame the host. This is because they lack the information of how to keep their websites secure and that in most case's, it has nothing to do with the actual security of the server. Most web hosts regularly monitor for Kernel updates that are released any other exploits that could cause any kind of harm to their servers. These kinds of actions normally keep the global or overall security of the server locked down and hardened. However, The issue comes into play when (you) the client begins to use scripts which may use PHP, Perl, or other things on the server. While these may be up to date, scripts can easily be manipulated and abused to the point where the security of your entire account can be compromised.

You will need to be a registered member to download any file on our website. Registration is free and easy. Simply sign upon the left navigation menu.

This script was built and rendered from a script made by 'Munk' which allows a connection to a brand new database and does the same thing basically. If this is something you are looking instead of using a existing database, you will definitely want to visit his website and download his version of the script. It's developed for someone who wishes to start a new database of usernames and passwords instead of using a existing MySQL database to authenticate users to a members only page.

Doing some work on computerquestionhelp.com right now

Site under big forums development with phpBB3 right now!

Announcement:

Sorry guys, I'm working on hacking phpbb3 into Drupal right now so the forums are not working. I got everything up and running smoothly without errors.

I'm currently working on:

1.) Importing old usernames, passwords, and posts from the old forums into the new one.
2.) Finishing the layout to match our website blue/orange.
3.) Going over any security risks and making sure everything is good and patched up.

I should be done in the next 1-4 days maybe a lot sooner. Everything has went smoother than anticipated already.

Thanks for understanding.

Stay Tuned!....
