Questions: I am getting a Windows error code 16. What is this and how can I fix this issue?
Are you getting a windows error code of 16 and being prompted with the following error?:
Then there are a couple of things you will want to do to resolve this error.
What's going on with this? -> The device is only partially configured.
Recommended resolution:
To specify additional resources for this device, click the Resources tab in Device Manager. If there is a resource with a question mark next to it in the list of resources assigned to the device, select that resource to assign it to the device. If the resource cannot be changed, click Change Settings. If Change Settings is unavailable, try clearing the Use automatic settings check box to make it available. If this is not a Plug and Play device, examine the hardware documentation for more information.
On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
