Question: Service has been disabled on a driver in Windows. I get a Windows error Code 31. How do I fix this?
Windows error Code 31 will produce or populate a error message that says something along the lines of:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Microsoft's only recommendation for this is:
Windows cannot load the driver. Try updating the driver for this device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
