Question: What does Windows error Code 31 mean?
Windows error Code 31 will produce or populate a error message that says exactly the following somewhere on your computers configuration settings:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Microsoft's Recommended Resolution:
Windows cannot load the driver. Try updating the driver for this device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
