Question: What does the Windows error code 29 mean and how do I fix this?
This error means that a device has been disabled due to Firmware issues with the device. This error code will print or populate a error message that says exactly the following on your computer:
This device is disabled because the firmware of the device did not give it the required resources. (Code 29)
Microsoft's Recommended Resolution
Enable the device in the BIOS of the device. For information about how to make this change, see the hardware documentation or contact the hardware vendor.
On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
